Road workHOPKINSVILLE, Ky. (7/9/17) — The city of Hopkinsville Public Works announced the department will be removing asphalt along Liberty Street beginning Monday.

Crews will be working between East First Street and East Fourth Street, and East Ninth and 14th streets, weather permitting. Workers will be present until the work is complete.

Public works asks drivers to use caution and be alert for construction equipment. Also, residents of the area that use on-street parking are encouraged to move vehicles to accommodate equipment.

The city apologizes for any inconvenience.
