KVCALEXINGTON, Ky. (11/6/17) — The Kentucky Volleyball Coaches Association (KVCA) announced its 2017 All-State Teams and Kentucky Ms. Volleyball today. Each team features at least two athletes from both AA and A programs.

Kayla Kaiser of Assumption High School has been named 2017 Ms. Kentucky Volleyball. Kaiser, a middle blocker, is committed to play for Georgia Tech.

KVCA All-State Teams are voted on by KVCA member coaches. A list of the honorees follows.

First Team: Alexa Davis (Greenwood); Anna DeBeer, Kayla Kaiser, Payton Frederick (Assumption); Rachel DeMarcus (Bryan Station); Taylor Floyd (Ballard); Kelly Franxman (Scott); Sierra Gray (Henry Clay); Natalie Hardig (Notre Dame); Neci Harris (Mercy); Sydney Lattis (Kentucky Country Day); Peyton McClinton (Presentation); Emma Pike (Central Hardin); Maria Tobergte (St. Henry); Abigail Westenhofer (Sacred Heart); Hannah Wilhite (Christian Academy).

Second Team: Bridget Bessler (St. Henry); Myana Carter (Henry Clay); Cayce Chaykowski (Henderson County); Olivia Fogo (Sacred Heart); Cate Hyde (McCracken County); Morgan Kelly (Cooper); Camille Nazor, Rylee Rader (Assumption); Carlie Peek (Caldwell County); Julia Popova (Beechwood); Emma Schurfranz, Jayme Scott (Mercy); Lainey Stephenson (Notre Dame); Jenna Story (Presentation); Megan Taylor (Paintsville); McKenna Vicini (Lexington Catholic).
