WESTERN KY (3/20/13) – As per the norm for the past few months, Mother Nature will be bouncing back and forth throughout the rest of the week.
Today, as many have noticed, the Western Kentucky region has had a strange mix of clouds, snow, drizzle, and sunshine, all within hours of one another. Fortunately, throughout the rest of the day we will see a clearing trend. Unfortunately, we will not be seeing a warming trend. Temperatures will hover in the mid to high 30’s throughout the day, with lows around 20 degrees overnight.
The temperatures will remain around the same level for Thursday, with sunshine for the day. Thursday night will creep in with temperatures around 27 degrees.
Friday will bring with it a chance of rain and snow, with little to no accumulation expected. Friday night will bring with it a 30 percent chance of rain showers.
For the weekend, we’re looking at mostly cloudy with a chance of rain on both days. Saturday temperatures will jump up into the low 50’s, and Sunday will have high 40’s.
Spring may have sprung, but if so, it has sprung a leak.
