CADIZ, Ky. (3/4/13) – The following is your update on Law Enforcement activity courtesy of the Cadiz Police Department.
On March 1, 2013, at approximately 6:00 PM, Cadiz Police investigated a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of US 68 and Main Street. Michael E. Hall, 62, of Nashville, TN was westbound on US 68 while 17-year-old Emma R. Tutor of Cadiz was eastbound. Tutor made a left turn onto Main Street when Hall pulled into her path. The vehicles collided. Hall was transported to Trigg County Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. Sgt. Richard Martin was the investigating officer.
On March 2, 2013, at 1:06 AM, Kody A. Blick, 21, of 7696 New Hope Road, Cadiz, was arrested by Officer Aaron Acree and charged with DUI – First Offense and disregarding a stop sign. Officer Acree observed Blick fail to stop at the intersection of Midway Street and Lafayette Street. Once stopped, Officer Acree could smell a strong odor of alcohol. The subject failed two field sobriety tests and was arrested. A sample of the suspect’s blood was sent to the KSP Crime Lab to determine the BAC.
