TRIGG COUNTY, Ky. (3/15/13) – On March 14th, 2013, at approximately 3:15 PM, 63-year-old Waynette Cain was traveling southbound on KY-139 (South Road).
 
At approximately the 5 mile marker she lost control of the vehicle and exited the roadway. The vehicle traveled a short distance and impacted a tree. Upon impact the vehicle spun counter clockwise as it continued forward into a creek bed dropping approximately 8-9ft. The driver was partially ejected, and did not survive her injuries. She was pronounced dead at the scene by the Trigg County Coroner.
 
A male 7-month-old child was located in the rear passenger seat secured in a child safety restraint device. The child was alert and responsive and was transported to the Trigg County ER by Trigg County EMS where he was evaluated and released to family members.
 
Tpr. Michael Robichaud was assisted on scene by the Trigg County Sheriff's Office, Trigg County EMS, Trigg County Rescue Squad, and the Trigg County Coroner's Office. The investigation continues by Trooper Robichaud
