PADUCAH, Ky. (5/10/13) – On Thursday, April 9, 2013, at approximately 2:03 PM, McCracken County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a report of a multiple vehicle accident on Woodville Road.
Once on the scene, Deputies found that an SUV driven by 50-year-old Kimberly Youngblood of Kevil, Kentucky, with two passengers, 25-year-old Lacey Collins and a 4-year-old child, also of Kevil, Kentucky was attempting to pass a pickup truck pulling a utility trailer. The pickup truck and trailer was occupied by the driver, 30-year-old Benjamin Crabtree, and his passenger, 23-year-old Joshua Shaw, both of West Paducah. Both vehicles were driving North on Woodville Road near the 10000 block, when the pickup truck attempted to turn left into a driveway as the SUV was passing. Both vehicles collided.
Youngblood was transported by Mercy EMS to Baptist Health Hospital for treatment of injuries. Crabtree was transported by Mercy EMS to Lourdes Hospital for treatment of his injuries.
No other persons reported injuries or were transported for treatment.
West McCracken Fire Fighters and Mercy EMS assisted at the scene.
