MADISONVILLE, Ky. (3/6/13) – On Tuesday, March 5, 2013, at approximately 4:45 p.m., the Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene of a possible accident at I-69 at the 91 Mile Marker.
Once on the scene, Deputies found that Frederick Lambert was driving a 2005 Ford Escape southbound on I-69 with one passenger, Gail Grimes. Lambert was allegedly cut off by an unknown vehicle, causing him to veer off the right shoulder of the highway. Lambert’s vehicle struck an earth embankment. At that time, Lambert overcorrected and the vehicle flipped over.
According to Sheriff’s Office officials, there were no injuries reported from the accident.
The Charleston Fire Department and Dawson Springs Police Department assisted the Sheriff’s office at the scene of the accident.
