MADISONVILLE, Ky. (3/7/13) – On February 17, an accident took place at the intersection of Sunrise Drive and Brown Road the inevitably led to charges filed against a local Hopkins County juvenile.

During the accident investigation, Madisonville Police Officers found that 23-year-old Brittany Clemons was rear-ended by a local 17-year-old youth.

As a result of the accident, Clemons passed away after being transported to Baptist Health ER.

Today, March 7, 2013, the Madisonville Police Department announced that the juvenile has received multiple charges of Murder, Assault (1st Degree) and Operating a Motor Vehicle under the Influence of Alcohol/Drugs (Aggravated Circumstances, 1st Degree).

No further information has been released in this case at this time.
