brighton cornerstoneMADISONVILLE, Ky. (5/11/13) – In observance of National Nursing Home Week, May 12-18, Brighton Cornerstone Health Care will host a series of events designed to enrich the relationships and contacts between residents, youth, community members, and family and staff.
 
The theme of the week is “Team Care: Everyone Pitches In!”
 
Brighton Cornerstone Health Care’s residents and staff have so much to share.
 
Some of the week’s special events are…
 
Sunday, May 12 – 2:00 PM – Mother’s Day Reception with Strawberry Shortcake
 
Monday, May 13 – 10:00 AM - Kick-off Parade for Nursing Home Week
 
Tuesday, May 14 – 2:00 PM - Singing with the Mayor and Friends
 
Wednesday, May 15 – 10:00 AM - Mary Kay Skin Care discusses how skin care has changed over the decades.
 
Thursday, May 16 – 2:00 PM – Ten foot long Banana Split.
 
Friday, May 17 – 8 AM to 3 PM – Facility-wide yard sale.
 
National Nursing Home Week is an annual observance sponsored by the American Health Care Association and Kentucky Association of Health Care Facilities.
 
Brighton Cornerstone Health Care is a 66–bed nursing facility located at 55 East North St in Madisonville.
