MUHLENBERG COUNTY, KY (12/13/12) – The Muhlenberg County Sheriff’s Department has released information regarding a bust that took place in Greenville, involving a number of drug-related charges.
Muhlenberg County Sheriff Detective Wade Griggs arrested Thurman Dale Dearmond, of 5326 Berryslick Road, Quality, KY, after executing a search warrant at 218 Hopkinsville Street in Greenville.
While searching the residence officers located 3 bags of suspected marijuana, 4 bags of suspected meth, glass smoking pipes, digital scales, marijuana seeds, a marijuana grinder, tied up bags of white crystals, and other paraphernalia.
Dearmond was charged with trafficking in Controlled Substance, 1st degree (meth) - 2 ounces; trafficking in marijuana, - 8 ounces.
Dearmond was lodged in the Muhlenberg County Detention Center, no bond has been set at this time.
Griggs was assisted by Sheriff Curtis McGehee, MCSO Deputies, Kentucky State Police, Greenville Police Department, Powderly Police Department, and PNTF Detective Troy Gibson.
