MUHLENBERG COUNTY, Ky. (3/4/13) – The Kentucky State Police is investigating a bomb threat at Muhlenberg County High School East Campus.
On Monday, March 04, 2013, at approximately 10:36 a.m., the KSP Post 2 Madisonville was contacted by the Muhlenberg County Sheriff’s Department in reference to a bomb threat at the East Campus of Muhlenberg County High School located at 2900 State Route 176, Greenville. A note had been discovered in a bathroom that stated a bomb was inside the school.
Emergency personnel from several agencies responded to the scene. Students were evacuated from the high school. A search of the school was conducted by K-9’s from the KSP Special Operations Section. No explosives or explosive devices were located.
