MUHLENBERG COUNTY, Ky. (3/9/13) – April is Child Abuse Awareness month and, once again, Muhlenberg County High Youth Service Center (MCHYSC) will be kicking off the Pinwheels for Prevention.
Local High school students will be placing BLUE Pinwheels on both lawns at West and East Campus to help bring awareness of child abuse.
MCHYSC is asking all Muhlenberg County residents to place Blue Pinwheels on their lawns and in their places of business.
April 1st will be the kick-off day. “Help us out, Muhlenberg,” said Coordinator Bonnie Gibson in a recent press release. “I will be posting more on this all the month of March to help us gear up and fight for our children. Please go stock up on those Blue Pinwheels this month and get ready. Let’s paint Muhlenberg County Blue!”
