MUHLENBERG COUNTY, Ky. (3/22/13) – Over the past few weeks, numerous bomb threats have been reported throughout Muhlenberg County at local schools. In most of the threats, arrests of juveniles have been successfully completed. One threat that went unsolved, until now, was at the Muhlenberg South Middle School on March 18.
According to Kentucky State Police, Detective Lloyd Ray has charged a juvenile in reference to the bomb threat that occurred at Muhlenberg South Middle School on Monday, March, 18, 2013.
On Thursday, March 21, 2013, at approximately 3:51 p.m., Det. Ray charged the juvenile with one count of Terroristic Threatening 1st Degree (Class C Felony). The juvenile was lodged in the Warren Regional Juvenile Detention Center in Bowling Green, KY.
Parents are urged to pass on the information of these arrests to their youth, so they will realize that this is not a small issue and such acts might end with them facing felony charges.
