GREENVILLE, Ky. (8/29/13) – The 5th Annual Squash & Gobble Arts Bazaar and Fall Festival comes to historic downtown Greenville on Saturday September 21st from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Browse through the breathtaking works of over fifty artisan booths, plus there’s live music and free activities for the kids.
The Duncan Center will be having an art auction during the Squash & Gobble Festival. This is a perfect opportunity to buy an original piece of artwork by a local artist, while supporting The Duncan Center Museum and Art Gallery.
There will also be a not so scary, but very funny “Scarecrows on Parade” event, also sponsored by the Duncan Center. Put your creative juices to work in designing a wacky, weird, are totally creative scarecrow. This event is open to all ages, individuals, families, clubs, groups, schools, civic organizations and businesses. Entry forms and guidelines are available at the Duncan Center. The deadline to submit entry forms is September 13th. Scarecrows will be judged during the Squash and Gobble Festival.
A sidewalk chalk art contest will also be part of the fun.
