MUHLENBERG COUNTY, Ky. (11/20/13) - The Muhlenberg Job Corps Center is proud to announce that both the women and men’s volleyball teams won the conference championship tournament! The Muhlenberg Job Corps Bulldogs are proud to claim the JCAAA Division Conference Champion title. Both teams are led by Coach Robbie McGehee and assistant coach Sarah Heltsley. Muhlenberg competed against other Job Corps located in Kentucky such as Earle C. Clements Job Corps of Morganfield, KY., and Whitney M. Young of Simpsonville, KY. Coach McGehee stated the students of the teams never missed a practice, conditioned weekly, and played very competitively. McGehee went further to say she is very proud of the co-captains Hannah & Sarah Hamilton, and male captain Kitumaini Nturubika who showed great commitment and encouragement while displaying top sportsmanship while winning this title.

The Muhlenberg Job Corps Center is an educational training facility for young adults’ ages 17-24 years of age. The center offers training and certifications in Heavy Equipment Operator, Welding, Class B Commercial Drivers License, Construction Equipment Mechanics, Clinical Medical Assistant, Certified Nursing Assistant, Pharmacy Technology, and Insurance Claims Processing.
