OWENSBORO, Ky. (3/7/13) – On March 6, at approximately 4:30 p.m., Owensboro Police Department patrol units responded to Wilkerson Plastering and Acoustics, located at 300 Lucas Avenue, where they investigated a suspected arson.
 
Officers observed fire damage to a window located at the rear of the business that had been extinguished prior to the arrival of responding units. Although there were employees inside the business at the time of the fire, there weren’t any reported injuries.
 
Through the course of the investigation, detectives interviewed a male juvenile.

That subject has subsequently been charged with arson. He is currently lodged in the Warren County Juvenile Detention Center, in Bowling Green, KY.
