rowdy rescue 300SLAUGHTERS, Ky. (11/8/13) - With the recent damage Rowdy Rescue facilities suffered in the Oct. 31 storm, the rescue is in need of some help from the community. Five out of their six kennels were destroyed.

Lucky Dogs of Madisonville is donating 15 percent of all its sales in November to help with re-building Rowdy's shelter while Calhoun’s Farm and Pet has donated a 10' x 6' chain length kennel.

However, Rowdy still needs more chain link kennels, flea and tick prevention, dog food, treats, leashes, collars and bleach.

There are donation bins for Rowdy Rescue set up at the Pennyrile Animal Clinic, Pampered Pets, Tradewater Animal Hospital and Clear Creek Kennels.

To donate, call 270-584-4499 or mail to: Rowdy Rescue, P.O. Box 94, Slaughters, KY, 42456. Monetary donations are also accepted at Independence Bank.
