HENDERSON, KY (11/21/12) - The Henderson County High School Junior Varsity Academic Team placed first in the Kentucky Association for Academic Competition which took place at Owensboro High School.

This year marked the second year in a row that the HCHS JV Academic Team won the competition. It’s their fourth win within the last eight years.
 
The HCHS Junior Varsity Academic Team participants are: Hencye Sights, who placed 1st in social studies and 2nd in arts and humanities Jack Hardy, who placed 2nd in science and 3rd in arts and humanities Lance Gibson, who placed 5th in language arts and 6th in science Alec Watson, who placed 2nd in math Erik Davis, who placed 3rd in math
 
The Henderson County High School Quick Recall team placed first overall.
 
Henderson County High School Quick Recall Team participants are Hencye Sights, Jack Hardy, Erik Davis, Lance Gibson, Rodrigo Daboin, David Littrell, Jeremiah Wayne, Devika Gopan, and Chase DeKemper.
