County School District Places Two Facilities On ‘Modified Lockdown’

breakingnews1HENDERSON, Ky. (2/27/13) – Following an anonymous tip to the Henderson County Police Department regarding a possible domestic disturbance, Henderson County School District officials placed its Thelma B. Johnson Early Learning Center and East Heights Elementary on a “modified lockdown for the remainder of the school day while the Henderson County Police Department investigates the situation,” a school district spokesperson stated in a news release regarding the incident.
 
A police officer has been assigned to each of the facilities, the release also stated.
