CALLOWAY COUNTY, Ky. (4/8/13) – The Kentucky State Police (KSP) is investigating a single-vehicle fatality collision that occurred on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at approximately 2:52 p.m. The collision occurred on US 641 north of Hazel, KY.
Preliminary investigation shows that a 1999 Ford Taurus, operated by 24-year-old Daniel M. Milam, of Memphis Tennessee, ran off the right side of the roadway for an unknown reason. The vehicle overturned before coming to final rest against a tree.
Calloway County Coroner pronounced Milam dead at the scene. Milam was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the collision.
Trooper Brian Duvall is continuing the investigation. Trooper Duvall was assisted on the scene by the Calloway County Sheriff’s Department, Murray Calloway County EMS, Calloway County Coroner’s Office, Murray Fire Department, and the Calloway County Fire Rescue.
