DSC 1104HANSON, Ky. (8/26/14) — A truckload of Carhartt T-shirts was struck by a CSX train between noon and 1 p.m. this afternoon in Hanson.

According to Hopkins County Sheriff's Deputy Heath Owen, the driver was crossing the tracks on West Madison Street in Hanson and the landing gear became stuck on the tracks. A CSX train was headed north and struck the trailer of the truck in the side.

Owens said the driver remained in the truck trying to move it until the last possible moment. The train moved the semi-truck and trailer about 150-200 feet down the tracks after impact.

No one was injured in the accident.
