MCC Announces Tuition Scholarships for Those 65 or Older

mcc 300 1HOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. (7/30/13) – Are you 65 or older and interested in taking college courses but need assistance with tuition costs? Madisonville Community College (MCC) has just what you are looking for!
 
It’s the Donovan Scholars Program. Whether you are taking courses for personal enrichment or working towards degree completion, the Donovan Scholars Program provides full tuition scholarships for those ages 65 or older. Students have the option of taking courses for credit or audit (attending the class but not receiving credit). Textbooks and any related class expenses are not covered by the Donovan Scholars Program.
 
Enrollment is simple -- just contact Aimee Wilkerson, MCC’s Director of Enrollment Management, at (270) 824-8696 and she will guide you through the application/enrollment process. A copy of a state-issued identification such as a driver’s license is required at the time of enrollment.
 
The fall semester class schedule may be viewed online at www.madisonville.kctcs.edu/schedule.
 
Sign up for your Donovan Scholar course today. Classes begin August 19.
