Weekly Weather Report – Sun, Rain, Sun, Mother Nature is Indecisive This Week

surfkyweather fall 300WESTERN Ky. (10/14/13) – Temperature-wise we are looking at a very steady and mild week, but we will likely see some extreme conditions during the middle of the week.

On Monday, Columbus Day, we will see mostly sunny conditions with a high somewhere around 74 degrees and a very light breeze throughout the day. Tuesday night will be the beginning of a front moving in that could produce Thunderstorms over the next couple of days.

Tuesday will bring forth a 50 percent chance of thunderstorms with temperatures, again, staying around 74 degrees. Tuesday night the chance for showers will jump up to 60 percent, with a high of 57 degrees.

On Wednesday the chance for showers will drop to 40 percent, with most of the rain hitting the area before 8 a.m., with a high around 64 degrees. Wednesday night will be the time for the storm front to move out of the area, with some clouds remaining. The overnight temperature will be around 46 degrees.

On Thursday we might see some scattered sprinkles between 8 in the morning and 2 in the afternoon. From there on out it will be partly cloudy with a high near 61 in the daytime hours and 43 overnight.

On Friday we will wrap the week up with mostly sunny conditions and a high near 64 degrees. Friday night temperatures will drop to around 44 degrees with a light west wind at around 8 MPH.
