To be named a Mayor’s Scholar, students must have a 2.5 GPA, maintain a 95% attendance rate, and attend a Christian County Public Schools middle school. Eligible students submitting an essay outlining their future education and career goals were named Mayor’s Scholars last week and are invited to attend a day-long field trip to Murray State University main campus on March 28. Fifty-nine scholars were named this year.
