HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. (3/27/13) – Hopkinsville Community College’s final ‘Hoptown Reading Series’ of the academic year will be held at 7 p.m., Thursday, April 11 at the campus Library. Author Dr. Lawrence Weill will read from his debut novel, Incarnate.
Incarnate, released this month from BlackWyrm Publishing, tells the story of a woman, Lara Joyner, who comes to believe that her son is Christ incarnate.
Dr. Weill is an author and artist in western Kentucky. In addition to novels, he writes short fiction, non-fiction articles and books, and poetry. His work has appeared in a wide range of local, regional and national journals. Prior to his retirement from academic life in 2012, Dr. Weill was president of Gordon College in Barnesville, Georgia. He is also a former Hopkinsville Community College academic dean and humanities faculty member. Dr. Weill and his wife currently live in the woods in Kuttawa overlooking a beaver pond.

This event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will follow the reading.
