HCC Awards over 1500 Credentials at Spring Graduation

grad tasselHOPKINSVILLE, Ky. (5/13/13) – Hopkinsville Community College’s 47th Commencement Ceremony was held at 7 p.m. on Friday evening, May 10 at the James E. Bruce Conference and Convention Center located at 303 Conference Center Drive in Hopkinsville.
 
According to HCC Registrar Melissa Stevenson, 781 students have applied for 1,554 credentials - 715 two-year degrees, 812 certificates, and 27 diplomas. Compared with 2012 statistics, HCC has experienced a 3.5 percent increase in graduate candidates as well as a slight increase in two-year degrees to be awarded.
 
This year’s graduates reside in14 states across the United States, 17 counties in Kentucky, six counties in Tennessee as well as a small number of military students living outside the U.S.
