Christian Author James L. Lambert to Visit Western Kentucky

jameslambertSLAUGHTERS, Ky. (4/5/13) – The Slaughters Christian Church will be welcoming Christian author James L. Lambert to their congregation, Sunday April 14, 2013, at 6:00pm. Also the author of “Porn in America: The Drift Towards Decadence in Our Society and the Way Out,” Lambert will be discussing his latest book, “16 Amazing Stories of Divine Intervention,” and what inspired him to write it.

In Lambert’s latest book, he is able to reveal the lives of people who were at a turning point in their life and how they were able to overcome obstacles by discovering the answer.

“When I was in college, I got involved with the wrong people. In my case, I got caught up in drugs. My junior year in college, a friend of mine had an episode in his life where he found Christ. He changed, and I noticed the change. He read to me a gospel message, allowing Christ to come into my life, and I did and it changed my life,” expressed Lambert.

The Slaughters Christian Church will be giving away 65 free copies of Lambert’s “16 Amazing Stories of Divine Intervention” that night. Lambert will be in Mississippi, then will work his way up to Western Kentucky. “Bill Adcock heard about the book and we started talking. He found out I was making a trip to Mississippi and decided to come to Kentucky too. I just want to get the message out there, to help with the change, that Christ can help anybody,” also expressed Lambert. “I will also be speaking in Henderson at the Presbyterian Church my grandpa use to go too and the place my father grew up in,” continued Lambert.

“We are more than happy to have James come and speak. James is able to cover a large range in his book that anyone can relate to it,” expressed Bill Adcock, Evangelist of Slaughters Christian Church.

For more information you can visit the Slaughters Christian Church website at www.slaughterschristianchurch.org or by calling them at (270)8782. Slaughters Christian Church is located on 135 West 2nd Street, across the railroad tracks at the center light. You can also visit www.jamesllambert.com or www.16amazingstories.com for more information about James L. Lambert and his upcoming events.

Lambert would like the community to know, “The stories in the book prove that God can change people’s lives. That there is hope, and the least I can do is share this liberation.”
