(11/18/13) - Madisonville Community College (MCC) is pleased to announce the selection of Dylan Melton as the Student of the Month for October. He is currently enrolled in the Advanced Integrated Technology (AIT) program and recently became the first student to complete the AIT cooperative education course. Faculty members describe him as an outstanding student who is organized, dependable, motivated, and hard-working - encompassing aspects of an ideal student.

A 2012 Muhlenberg County High School graduate, Melton plans to complete the Power Plant Operator and Multi-skilled Technician credentials by the summer of 2014. He anticipates transferring either to Murray State University or Western Kentucky University to pursue a degree in Electromechanical engineering Technology or other related field.

Dylan was presented with a certificate and a Barnes & Noble gift card during his work shift at Fluid Power Services in Madisonville on November 18.
