Corey Wright Receives County Attorney Clerkship

Corey.2Corey WrightHOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. (7/7/14) — Hopkins County Attorney Todd P'Pool has announced the hiring of Corey Wright as a 2014 law clerk for the prosecution team.

Wright is a native of Madisonville, Ky., who graduated from Madisonville North Hopkins High School in 2008 and graduated summa cum laude from the University of Kentucky in 2012 with a Bachelors of Arts in history and political science.

She recently completed her first year of law school at Belmount University College of Law in Nashville, Tenn., where she is a member of the law review and ranked in the top 10 percent of her class.

"We are pleased to have such a talented young lady as a part of our clerkship program," P'Pool stated in a press release. "I am excited to see what the future holds for Corey and her bright legal career."

Wright will provide research and assistance in criminal trial preparation, court operations and constituent services.
