cash mob 500

CENTRAL CITY, Ky. (5/21/13) – The Corner Fashions/The Depot on Broad Street in Central City received a visit from the Greater Muhlenberg Chamber of Commerce Cash Mob Monday, May 20th. All customers who mentioned “Cash Mob” received 10% off store wide.

This historic two century old downtown landmark is owned by Darrell and Elizabeth Gentry, who purchased and totally restored this 3-story building, which has a sister store in Greenville located inside the Greenville Pharmacy.

While in the process of restoring the Ben Franklin building, the Gentry’s also purchased the Corner Fashion Store, owned by Kathy Turley. Ms. Turley decided to retire and close her beloved children's clothing store.

Now both stores have a new life, with the renovated balcony area filled with fine crystal, paintings by local artists and a station area where items are sold on line by Ms. Gentry's sister, Mary Lee Kelly.

The store also features toys by "Melissa and Doug", homemade candy, and best of all, a chance for many to return to shop in a building where they first met Santa Claus.
