road closed blue 300MUHLENBERG COUNTY, Ky. (6/18/14) — The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to close a section of Kentucky 70 in Muhlenberg County Thursday, June 19, 2014.

The closure along Kentucky 70 at mile point 12.2 is to allow a cross drain to be replaced. This is just west of Oakwood Drive.

Kentucky 70 will be closed from the Kentucky 181 Intersection at mile point 10.2 to the US 431 Intersection at mile point 14.7. Local access will be maintained on each side of the closure point.

Kentucky 70 is expected to close promptly at 7:30 a.m., CDT, Thursday. It is expected to reopen to traffic at approximately 4:30 p.m., Thursday.
