OWENSBORO, Ky. (9/20/13) – Only two teams in Daviess County are scheduled to play this weekend, while the other two are both on the road.

Owensboro High School travels to Ohio County tonight, and Daviess County heads to Muhlenberg County for a delayed game tomorrow at 6 p.m. Apollo and Owensboro Catholic each have the night off.

At their game last week, the Owensboro Catholic Aces put up a hard fight against Spencer County but couldn’t keep pace, going into half-time with a score of 19-6 and ultimately falling to the Rebels 48-34. Apollo drove a well-earned victory against Hopkins County Central, ending the game 28-0.

Both teams take the field at their respective home schools next week, when the Aces take on Butler County and Apollo faces off against Graves County. Owensboro High School also returns home next week in their game against North Hopkins.
