Owensboro Catholic, Daviess County End Regular Season on High Notes

basic football5 300OWENSBORO, Ky. (11/4/13) - Last week the final games of the regular season were played; Owensboro Catholic and Daviess County walked away with solid victories, while Owensboro had a heavyweight battle against Henderson.

Daviess County was focused from the start of the game and they proved they were the better team. The game was never close. The Panthers steamrolled the visiting Eagles from Ohio County 49 - 19. Daviess County improved to 6 - 4 entering the playoffs.

Owensboro Catholic made the trip to Barren County on Friday. The Aces would win their game 46 - 18 and Catholic improved their winning streak to six games. Owensboro Catholic will enter the playoffs with an 8 - 2 record.

Owensboro and Henderson played the game of the night on Friday. The Colonels would stand victorious in the end winning 28 - 27. The Red Devils record now stands at 7 - 3 and will be seeking revenge in the playoffs this week.
