HOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. (5/3/13) – On April 12th and 13th the Madisonville Community College Chapter of Phi Beta Lambda (FBLA-PBL) took five students to compete at the state level for the first time. FBLA-PBL is the largest business career student organization in the world. Each of our five students placed in the top three positions within their chosen competitive events. We are very proud to be now taking them to the National competition in Anaheim, CA this summer.

–Daniel Frankel 1st Place Hospitality Management
–Melissa Head 3rd Place Desktop Publishing
–Corey Rolley 2nd Place Job Interview
 
We are also pleased to announce that Matt Graham was elected to the position of Treasurer for the State Executive Board for Phi Beta Lambda. Advisers for this growing student organization are Clarissa Hill and Kim Simons.
