Two Deaths Reported in Memorial Day Weekend House Fire

Fire 04 house 300Beechmont, Ky. (5/26/13) – Officials have reported that a home on Hazel Creek Road in Beechmont caught fire in the early morning hours of Saturday, resulting in the deaths of two local residents.

According to officials, Doug and Donita Smith died as a result of the fire. The Smiths were the parents of local children that were not home at the time of the fire.

As for the cause of the fire, no information has been released as of yet.
