Muhlenberg School Bus Incident Reported

breakingnews DEV STORY 300MUHLENBERG COUNTY, Ky. (8/29/13) – An alleged incident that occurred on Tuesday, Aug. 27 on a Muhlenberg County Schools bus that caused some football players' parents to be concerned, is being examined by the Muhlenberg County Schools Interim Superintendent Sonny Fentress.

Fentress would not comment on the details of the report he'd received Thursday morning citing, "it's a personnel matter." The alleged incident occurred on a Muhlenberg North Middle School bus after a Muhlenberg North versus McLean County middle schools football game.

Fentress said he has not had enough time to study the report and asked that questions about the alleged incident be deferred until the first of the week. He said he would then give more details.

Fentress is the school system's interim superintendent after long-time superintendent Dale Todd was asked to resign earlier this year. Former Muhlenberg South High School principal Randy McCarty has been selected as the permanent replacement and begins his duties Nov. 1.
