Man Injured in Depoy Accident

Accident Injury 01 red 300DEPOY, Ky. (7/18/14) — A one-vehicle accident on Bards Hill Road near Depoy early Friday morning left a Sacramento man injured.

According to a Kentucky State Police report, Jordan Hamby, 23, Sacramento, was operating a 1993 Ford Thunderbird headed south on Bards Hill Road at about 12:36 a.m. Friday, July 18, when he failed to negotiate a curve. Hamby's vehicle crossed the center line and exited the left side of the road, where it struck a tree.

Hamby was transported by personal vehicle to Muhlenberg Community Hospital for treatment. He was not wearing a seatbelt, and no passengers were involved, the report said.

Trooper Jacob Fortney investigated the collision.
