JSMC LOGO2 300HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. (9/9/13) – Jennie Stuart Medical Center has launched a new website at a familiar online address, www.jsmc.org. One year in development, the site includes updated information about services at the hospital, six ancillary service locations, three owned physician practices, and the more than 100 members of the JSMC Medical Staff in 34 specialties.

The site includes hundreds of patient testimonials from newspaper, radio and television ads, and recent photos of employees, physicians and volunteers.

JSMC’s new website also features a “Doc of the Month.” For September, the hospital actually saluted three physicians—urologists H. “Ken” Dougherty, MD, and Jenny Franke, MD; and radiation oncologist Michael Murray, MD—for providing free prostate cancer screenings at JSMC’s annual prostate screening on Sept. 30.

“Our new website is the latest component of our rebranding campaign that began last year,” James M. Goss, director, JSMC Marketing & Community Relations, says. “We have expanded the content and added several features. We think these will make the site more interesting and usable for patients and the public.”

JSMC is a private, not-for-profit health organization that includes an acute-care medical center; free-standing outpatient surgery, medical imaging, laboratory, and rehabilitation services; and an integrated physician network. Read more online at www.jsmc.org.
