(7/10/13) – Ron Crouch, Director of Research and Statistics, with the Kentucky Education and Workforce Development Cabinet, will be the guest speaker at this month's Greater Muhlenberg Chamber of Commerce meeting this Thursday at the Greenville United Methodist Church.
Ron previously served as Director of the Kentucky State Data Center located at the University of Louisville for nearly 21 years. He has developed a national database, analyzing trends by both Census regions and states. Each state, as well as the entire United States, is undergoing major demographic and economic revolutions.
Our population is aging. Our economy is moving from a manufacturing to a knowledge economy. We are growing more diverse. There are major differences across regions. Analyzing data and developing information in ways that enhance understanding and utilization is Mr. Crouch’s goal.
