OWENSBORO, Ky. (6/13/13) - On Tuesday, a Louisville-based bank with 18 locations across 12 western Kentucky counties celebrated what PBI Vice-President Business Development Officer Bradley Osborne called “an opportunity” to show our involvement with the community” of Owensboro and Daviess County, as ambassadors and other supporters from the Greater Owensboro Chamber of Commerce gathered at the bank on Frederica Street for a ceremonial ribbon cutting.

Established in 1902, PBI Bank opened the branch here in Owensboro in 2007, but Osborne, who joined PBI about three weeks ago, said the decision to become more active with the Chamber is a recent development.

“We understand the business community is growing in Owensboro,” he said. “We want to show our involvement with the community. We want to be a true, traditional community bank.”

PBI Bank’s Owensboro branch is located at 1819 Frederica St.
