Job Duties

  • Report on all aspects of news affecting the community, including crime, education, sports, government, and entertainment.
  • Generate story ideas.
  • Build contacts in the community to use as sources for stories.

Qualifications

  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in written form.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • A minimum of 1-3 years experience in journalism or a related field.
