GPD Charges Man for Shoplifting at Uncle Lee's

arrested handcuffs blue 300GREENVILLE, Ky. (3/17/14) — A Madisonville man was arrested for shoplifting Saturday in Muhlenberg County.

According to a Greenville Police Department report, Officer Tommy Crick responded to a shoplifting complaint at Uncle Lee's, Saturday, March 15.

Uncle Lee's employees had detained the man until police arrived. He then turned over the items to police. Chambers also had more than $300 in stolen merchandise from Goody's.

Crick charged Donald R. Chambers, 57, of Madisonville with shoplifting and receiving stolen property under $500.

Kentucky State Police assisted at the scene.
