Robin stepped in during a critical time and fulfilled the duty of the Center’s Buyer for two weeks in addition to all her other finance duties. She continued to do all her other duties but made purchasing a number one priority in order to benefit our student population by ordering food, supplies, equipment, and services required to keep the center running efficiently. In a two week period Robin entered close to $30,000 in purchase orders that were critical to center operations.
She was also instrumental in meeting a May 30 deadline for entering equipment purchase orders that had to be committed per the regional Department of Labor office. She helped organize and set up an account for GED testing that had to be done quickly in order to test students before they went home for Summer break.The Center is already seeing results from that testing with GEDs being passed.
