Business Spotlight - Blue Moon Car Wash

blue-moon

GREENVILLE, Ky. (7/25/14) — Blue Moon Car Wash and Detailing is offering $5 car washes during the rest of July.

Tony Greenwood, the owner of Blue Moon Car Wash and Detailing, said he wanted to reward his steady customers and entice others to experience a car wash from Blue Moon.

Greenwood took over Blue Moon Car Wash and Detailing in 2000. He removed the automated equipment and decided a hand car wash delivered a much better quality wash.

"At Blue Moon we do a much better job at cleaning your car at a cheaper price," said Greenwood.

In August, Blue Moon's car wash prices go back up to $8 per vehicle, but they are offering a free spray wax with every wash.

Greenwood's Blue Moon Car Wash and Detailing offers steam cleaning for cars and engines. Greenwood has invested in a professional grade steam cleaner which cleans dashboards, leather seats and carpets. The hot steam cleans the car but immediately takes the water back in so that it safely cleans the car. He also uses the same process for the engine so that cleaning the engine does not involve pouring water over the engine.

Greenwood has 15 years experience detailing cars, and he guarantees. Prices can vary on vehicles but his average charge is$40 for cars and $50 for trucks.

Blue Moon Car Wash and Detailing is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at North Main Street between Diary Queen and Clark's Appliances.
