HENDERSON, Ky. (3/15/13) – On March 14 at 6:25 p.m., Henderson Police Department Officer Jake Isonhood was responding to an alarm call at 340 Starlight Drive when he was involved in an automobile accident.
According to Henderson Police, Isonhood was stopped on Watson Lane west of U.S. 41 with his emergency equipment activated. Once north and southbound U.S. 41 traffic stopped, he entered the roadway to continue east on Watson Lane and was struck by a northbound vehicle, driven by Steven Maxey, Evansville.
