bluecc300 AHOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. (7/1/13) – Sometimes I wonder if this is America? We have taken Prayer out of school, and we have taken the Pledge of Allegiance out of school.

On the news recently, the city council in Evansville voted to let a church put crosses at the riverfront. Now there are two people that filed a petition stating that they do not want the crosses put up. Jesus died on the cross for our sins. In return, we take prayer out of school and don’t allow children to say the Pledge of allegiance? And now there are people that don’t want crosses put up?

Here is a kicker. Now, on a box of cereal, Captain Crunch, people are arguing that the Captain is not a captain, but is a commander. He has three stripes. Add a stripe and then he will be a Captain, and then move on! It’s ridiculous what some people argue about!

Now, the Supreme Court has voted to let men and women marry each other. This is not America! We are going downhill.

A long time ago, America was respectful. Now we are just another world country. Now we have put our older people in rest homes, and that is where they stay until they die. We kill babies. Once the baby boomers are gone, the world as we know it is gone.

Think, people! We can still “vote”. They have not taken that from us…yet, but I wonder. The way things are run in Washington, I wonder if this is America or is it a third world country?
