Madisonville Fire Reports

firereports2011new a 300MADISONVILLE, Ky. (11/5/13) - The Madisonville Fire Department released the following reports Nov. 3.

On Nov. 3, at approximately 11:27 a.m., the MFD received an alarm for smoke in the area of 462 Wyatt Ave. After searching the area, a small fire in the backyard of 560 Wyatt Ave. was found and was determined to be the cause of the complaint. The occupant had a burn permit and was allowed to continue burning unless complaint was received due to the smoke.

On Nov. 3, at approximately 12:54 a.m., while responding to a fire alarm at Madisonville Community College, Engine-16 noticed a small grass fire in the ditch on 41A in front of Calhoun Feed and Pets. Engine-16 diverted and crew used a pressurized water extinguisher to extinguish the fire and wet the area around it.
