retiree graceL-R: Ashley Knight, HR Manager, Jim Grace, Driver, and Susan Lyons Safety/Security Manager MUHLENBERG COUNTY, Ky. - On Wednesday, October 30th, 2013 Jim Grace, center Driver celebrated 10 years of service to the staff and students of the Muhlenberg Job Corps Center. A retirement reception was held in his honor where staff reminisced of multiple humorous stories of the past ten years. Mr. Grace was not allowed to retire quietly, he had to participate in the trivial “Are you ready for retirement” quiz. Needless to say, there wasn’t a dry eye in the house from laughter.

Mr. Grace was in awe of all who came to wish him a farewell including his wife. The Muhlenberg Job Corps students come to the center by bus and plane. Over the years Mr. Grace has built a close relationship with the owners of the Bowling Green bus station. He was excited to see the owners of the station, George and Opal Robertson, amongst the large crowd at his celebration.

Mr. Grace was presented with a plaque of appreciation and a gift for his years of dedication and service to the Center. The Muhlenberg Job Corps Center and operator, Horizons Youth Services wish him a happy retirement. His lighthearted spirit will truly be missed by all who worked with him.
