road closed yellow 300SOUTH CARROLLTON, Ky. (12/2/13) — A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to restrict traffic to one lane along U.S. 431 in the South Carrolton area of Muhlenberg County starting Wednesday, Dec. 4.

Traffic on U.S. 431 will be restricted to one lane near the 23 mile marker with alternating flow controlled by an automated signal around the clock. This is at the site of an ongoing safety project.

The restriction is expected to be in place for about five days, weather permitting.
