wheelchair1FRANKFORT, Ky. (4/3/13) – Hello again folks! We have been very busy here at Sportsmen for Christ. God has blessed our Ministry in so many ways and we want to share the blessings with all of you. We give all the glory to God and we thank each of you for supporting us and praying for us daily.

God chose me to start this Ministry and I have let Him lead me all the way. If we all put all of our trust in Him we shall be glorified in Him!

Last night I posted a comment needing help purchasing camo bibles. With everyone praying and believing and trusting in God, we have almost achieved our goal and we will achieve it by our deadline of April 15th. God just keeps blessing us. I actually spoke with the company today and we get the Bibles 20 cents less than the original plan because we will not have to pay shipping if we order by the 15th. I am trusting in our Lord that He is going to provide The Way, The Truth, and The Light.

We are also working on raising money for two off-road style wheel chairs for the disabled hunters. The cost for 2 chairs is $12,000.00. This is a reachable goal through Christ. There are so many people in Hopkins County, that if each household in the area donated $1.00 for each person in the home, we can make this happen as a team. We are also going to do some fundraising. Our goal is to have both chairs by the Fall of 2014. For instance if there is 5 people living in your home we are asking you to donate at least $5.00. These donations are tax deductible and we can send you a receipt for your taxes. wheelchair2These people that are disabled and are in wheelchairs they want to get out and be active too. It is our duty as Christians to help these folks out. I promise you, no matter how tough you are, it will bring you to your knees to witness one of these kids go hunting or fishing. We have the land to take the kids and the volunteers. We just need the equipment to do it with.

If you would like to make a difference please make checks payable to Sportsmen for Christ and to the side on the memo line write Wheelchair Fund. Our address will be posted at the end of the article. Thanks so much God bless and be safe!
